I bought Koko a big stainless steel bell, confident he would enjoy making noise with it. I  should have known better.  He's Koko. He never rings the bell.  He sleeps with his head under  it. Most birds ring bells. Koko wears his as a nightcap.   

However, there are many (normal) birds who enjoy cuddling up to a Birdy Buddy.  Simply tie it on the cage bars, at the end of the favorite perch. It's an avian Teddy Bear.

As commercial toys go, I like this one a lot. I also like the name.  It's called The Kabobaran (It sounds like a Peter Pan word, doesn't it?) and it's made by Activitoy.  It's acrylic and  screws onto the side of the cage.  The top of the "kabob" has a screw-on ball. Once your bird has chewed off the parts, they can be replaced with refills like the one pictured on the right.  The "kabob" may also be used as….well...a kabob…..for food treats.
